Inspired by the everyday rituals that ground and restore us, The Plait Candle brings together tradition, craftsmanship and the art of slowing down.

Handcrafted in Oaxaca, Mexico, using traditional techniques, each candle is individually braided by hand from 100% natural beeswax and finished with a cotton wick for a clean, slow burn. Its distinctive woven form is inspired by the tradition of plaiting, a symbol of care, ritual and the generations of hands that have passed down this craft.

Much like the rituals we create for our hair and skin, the process of plaiting is thoughtful, intentional and unhurried. Designed to bring warmth and presence to your daily routine, this candle invites a moment of pause.

How to Use

Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each use. During the first burn, allow the wax pool to reach the edge of the candle to encourage an even burn throughout its life.

Candle Care & Safety

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from children and pets.
• Keep away from curtains, furniture and other flammable materials.
• Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Stop use when approximately 10mm of wax remains.
